Back on the attack! Today we discuss recent reviews of the Sony DCR-SR100 hard drive based camcorder, the JBL On Time iPod alarm clock, and the AudioEngine 5 iPod compatible speaker set.  Then off to the big media event of the week: Apple’s Showtime event. New iPods, new nanos, new shuffle, new iTunes, new movie store and the announcement of iTV. What does it all mean? Take a listen there, sonny. Just days prior to Apple’s announcement, Amazon intros their Unboxed movie download service. How do the two compare? Guess how you’ll find out…
 
Vista may be delayed in the EU as punishment for their psychotic ways of dealing with the monopoly issue. Look for Microsoft Vista EU edition to appear strangely similar to Microsoft Bob. Hey, at those prices, maybe that’s a good thing!
  
Hardware
 
Nvidia decides we need more graphics cards to choose from, so they launched a couple more. Yeh?
 
Peripherals
 
Logitech releases the MX and VX revolution mice. We release a long stream of drool from our mouths. And they got some speakers, which look nice, but lack drool worthiness.
 
Toshiba launches the Gigabeat V, a slight upgrade to the Gigabeat S. Sennheiser releases a new line of mobile headphones in several form factors, which we should have on hand soon. After theya re on hand, they will be transferred to on ear. And lastly, HP tosses their 30” behemouth LCD into the ring.
 
Apple
 
Creative and Apple finally play nice, after Apple admits it was being a jerk. Creative was right. Get over it iFanboys!
 
Gaming
 
The EU will not see the PS3 until March of 2007. Wow. How much does life suck there? j/k Also, Sony is working on a Folding@Home client for the PS3, supposedly. Help science frag disease!
 
Microsoft has launched lower priced Xbox 360 Core system in Japan as the beginning of the attack on the yet unreleased PS3. There are more people expecting an HD-DVD bundled version of the 360, as seen here.
