We hope everyone had a Happy New Year and Rockin’ Holiday Break. I did, and not only because it included an awesome espresso machine and grinder, but also a celebrity gossip-worthy NYE event. Oh Tara. Actresses should still be able to count.

Samsung has 16GB NAND flash ready for the market, which means larger Solid State Drives. Also in storage news, Seagate has announced that they have 1TB HDD drives ready for the market. Sweet pr0n storage heavens!
The Blu-Ray/HD-DVD war is about to come to a bloodless end. LG has announced they will be showing off an HD-DVD/Blu-Ray hybrid player at CES, and Warner has announced they are working on dual HD-DVD/Blu-Ray discs. When will people learn that the BetaMax/VHS thing will never happen again?
