Watch what you Tweet
Topics in this Podcast:
Watch what you Tweet - It’s almost as easy to Tweet a complaint as to say it aloud, but as some Twitterers are learning, the results can be far longer lasting. A Chicago woman experienced the effects first hand recently when she complained about a realty company on Twitter, only to land a $50,000 defamation lawsuit from the company. But with only 20 followers, was it even worth suing her? The panel debates the practical and ethical merits of the grouchy tenant, the real estate company, and how lawsuits like this could change the atmosphere on Twitter.
